The Hydra-Tech In-Train Coupler Scissor Jack 60T is a high-capacity scissor lifting system engineered for rapid wheelset replacement while railcars remain coupled.
Positioned on the rails and lifting beneath the coupler assembly, the system raises the connected ends of two adjacent railcars simultaneously. This unloads both trucks at the coupler interface, allowing up to four wheelsets to be serviced from a single lift position.
By eliminating the need to uncouple cars or move them to a repair track, the In-Train Coupler Jack significantly reduces downtime and increases yard throughput.
